Cow Parsley, Fern and Bramble Leaf Cast Grey&Silver
A simple snapshot of nature. A botanical plaster cast created using cow parsley, fern and bramble leaves.
Capturing the beautiful detail of the wild flowers and foliage in this delicate square cast.
The flowers have been hand pressed into the clay, carefully removed creating an impression in the clay. I then use strong professional plaster to create a relief cast from the mould created from my original cast.
The square cast has then been hand painted using a grey paint and highlighted with metallic silver. A hook has been set into the cast so this can be hung directly on the wall or it can be propped on a shelf or balanced on a mini easel (like photo but not included).
