- Rolling & cutting
- Pre fire finishing
- Post fire finishing
- Oxidising to create 'antiquing' look (optional)

The silver clay course was a gift for my birthday, and I had an amazing time. I need to say that I found the course through a Yorkshire craft directory, and had never met Tara before, so this is an independent review. She took us through the basics of handling silver clay, and demonstrated a number of techniques, including using moulding resin to create unique forms from plant material. We all had plenty of time to have a go and each created a number of lovely pieces of jewellery to take home. We were based in a small workshop in Ilkley and had access to tea and coffee all day, there was no such thing as a daft question, and Tara helped each of us whenever we got a bit stuck. She also gave us information and guidance for how to source tools and clay for those of us who wanted to continue exploring with it after the class. This was a lovely friendly workshop where I learned lots of new stuff in a relaxed atmosphere, and came away having made a lovely pendent for my sister for her birthday. Highly recommended.
