Why Joy Impressions?
Joy is an important name in our family as it was my Dad’s mum’s name who passed away when he was 16. It is my middle name and has been passed on to my daughter. It felt right that Joy be used as part of my business name as the impressions created at Joy Impressions hopefully bring joy to my customers.

Boss lady, jewellery maker, flower-cast artist, email responder, website manager, photographer, creating mess and drinking far too much tea!
What’s your favourite product?
I wear my necklace with my son’s handprint, daughter’s fingerprint and my cat’s paw print (my third child). I love having them close to me.
Best thing about Joy Impressions
I love what I do and create. How lucky am I! Spending time surrounded by being able to create beautiful and sentimental jewellery and flower casts is a wonderful and meaningful job to have.
What do you do outside Joy Impressions?
I love family life, spending time with my husband and children along with all the chaos that goes with it. By the time I’ve fitted in all the children’s activities, parties and school events at the end of the day I’m ready for a glass of wine (or tea) curled up on the sofa. I’ve recently watched Portrait of the Year and would love to start painting my portrait.

Job at Joy Impressions
I turn the hand/foot and paw prints we receive into a workable size for creating the 3D stamp. I also like to think of myself as a sounding board for Tara (as I’m her Mum!) as running your own business sometimes you need a second opinion.
What’s your favourite product?
One of my favourite products is the handprint charm, I have three with my grandchildren's prints on them. They are also a lovely charm to have if you have lost a loved one.
Best thing about Joy Impressions
I enjoy working with Tara as she is full of inspiration, I like new challenges. I also enjoy helping make the charms which give customers so much happiness.
What do you do outside Joy Impressions?
Besides working with Tara I enjoy patchwork, zentangleing, and card making, spending time with my family and helping out at a nursing home.
