Making a Purchase

Hopefully you will find the website easy to navigate and making a purchase will be an enjoyable experience. Just browse the website and add any item you wish to buy to the shopping basket. After you have finished your selections, click on checkout and you will be asked for a few details in order to complete the transaction.

All our credit and debit card payments are processed using Stripe or Paypal.

When we receive your order a confirmation email will be emailed out to you. Please check and confirm all details are correct.

 

Wear & Tear of Silver.

Sterling Silver is a relatively soft metal. If an item is worn on a regular basis, or hung on a chain or bracelet with lots of other items or on a key ring, it will gradually age and scratches and small dents may occur. There is a section on the website on how to look after your jewellery.

 

Shipping and Handling

For Fingerprint Orders:
Joy Impressions will post out an impression’s kit via Royal Mail post within 2 working days of receiving your order and full payment. An addressed envelope is included in the Fingerprint impression kit for you to return the fingerprints moulds to Joy Impressions and your postage is pre-paid. The finished piece of jewellery will be returned to you via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. We aim to do this within 15 working days after we have received your fingerprint moulds. A confirmation email will be sent to you confirming receipt of the moulds.

For Handprint/Footprint and Petprint Orders:
Joy Impressions will post out an impression’s kit via Royal Mail post within 2 working days of  receiving your order and full payment. An addressed envelope is included in the Handprint/Footprint impression kit for you to return the prints or alternatively these can be scanned to studio@joy-impressionsprints.com. The finished piece of jewellery will be returned to you via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. We aim to do this within 15 working days after we have received your loved ones prints. A confirmation email will be sent to you confirming receipt of the prints.

Wording Orders: Joy Impressions can accept orders from handwritten cards or letters via a scanned copy of the text or a photocopy posted to Joy Impressions Studio. The finished piece of jewellery will be returned to you via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. We aim to do this within 15 working days from receipt of your prints. A confirmation email will be sent to you confirming receipt of the prints.

 

Delivery Schedule

We aim to deliver your Impressions kits within 2 working days from receiving your order (UK only)

All orders are posted recorded delivery which can take between 2-3 working days and requires a signature on receipt.

If you have requested special delivery these will be delivered next day unless the order is placed on a Friday and then it will be Monday delivery.

 

Photos

You agree that Joy Impressions reserve the right to photograph your finished pieces for use in marketing purposes including images uploaded to the website www.joy-impressionsprints.com

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you wish to cancel your order before you receive our confirmation email, please email studio@joy-impressionsprints.com and title the email “Cancellation” along with your order number and name.  If we receive this email in time, we will not send any kits or products to you and will not charge you for the products that you ordered. If you wish to cancel your order after you have received a confirmation email from us, you will need to contact us to check on the progress of your order. If your item has already been prepared for dispatch, or dispatched, then you may have to wait until you have received the product.

For personalised items, orders may be cancelled and a full refund given at any point until a print or impression kit has been dispatched, or work has commenced on a product (whichever occurs first). Once the kit has been despatched we will make a small charge of £5 to cover the costs of the impression kit and the remaining balance of the product will be refunded. However, once you have received confirmation from us that we have received your prints or impressions at the studio, we regret that we are unable to offer a refund.

 

Not In Stock

If you item is not in stock you will be contacted via email or phone with the option to cancel the order if you would rather not wait for the item to come back into stock.

Tax Charges – All orders are VAT Free

Credit Card Security – All out credit and debit card payments are processed using Shopify Payment or paypal. A Paypal account is not required to use this service.

Privacy Policy – Joy Impressions does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the ‘Remember Me’ Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to ‘Tools | Internet Options | Privacy’ (in Internet Explorer) and selecting to block cookies.

 

Product Guarantee

At Joy Impressions we are committed to providing you with a quality product that has had time and care taken in the process of making it. If in the unlikely event the order has been supplied incorrectly or faulty then please be assured we will aim to deal with the issue as quickly as possible.  Items are guaranteed for 12 Months.  This guarantee does not extend to damage caused by obvious misuse, to lost or stolen goods or to general wear and tear such as scratched surfaces.

 

Returns

Personalised items

We regret that due to the items being personalised we are unable to refund or exchange unless we have made your item incorrectly or the item is faulty.   The order should be checked on receipt and any error advised within 2 working days of receipt to ensure we can rectify this as quickly as possible.

 

Checking your order

Check personalised details – spelling of name, date of birth and prints versus your order form sent to you when you placed the order on line.

If there is a problem please advise us via email Quoting your order number, name and details along with the problem. A written record will need to be kept when helping resolve the matter.

We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

 

Gift Vouchers

All vouchers valid for six months from date of purchase. Gift vouchers are non transferable and non refundable.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
